Explained

What people think about Vipers

Vipers is the kind of scrappy, nature-gone-amok thriller that knows exactly what it’s here to do: deliver brisk, pulpy creature-feature fun with a sci-fi hook and a body count that doesn’t waste your time. Bill Corcoran keeps the pace moving as the island setting turns into a pressure cooker, and the movie leans into its TV-movie roots with the comforting rhythm of people making bad decisions while the danger keeps slithering closer. Tara Reid and Jonathan Scarfe give the chaos a likable center, and the scares are more “grab the popcorn” than “prestige horror,” with enough bite-and-blood mayhem to satisfy fans of old-school monster movies. It’s not for viewers allergic to B-movie vibes or R-rated gore and nudity, but if you’re in the right frame of mind, it’s an efficiently entertaining little ride.
