It’s a Conjuring-verse crowd-pleaser that builds toward a bigger, more satisfying finale than the first film, with bursts of mayhem that are genuinely fun if you like your horror operatic and relentless. If you prefer subtle dread over loud set pieces, it may feel a bit theme-park at times—but if you’re on the fence and want a polished, atmospheric supernatural ride, this one earns its place in the habit.
