For a crime thriller, it’s oddly short on clean, escalating tension, so if you want sharp clues, tight momentum, and real suspense, this may test your patience. That said, the cast is committed and the bleak atmosphere is convincing, making it a decent pick if you’re more interested in the setting and moral dread than a satisfying, pulse-pounding investigation.
