Georgia Groome is wonderfully game and human at the center, surrounded by friendships and rivalries that feel messy in the way adolescence actually is, not the way movies often sanitize it. It’s definitely geared toward a younger, boy-crazy coming-of-age vibe (with PG-13 snogging and cheeky talk), but if you’re in the mood for something sweet, sharp, and genuinely charming, it’s an easy crowd-pleaser.
