Explained

What people think about Super Troopers 2

Super Troopers 2 is the rare comedy sequel that understands its own appeal: a gang of lovable idiots in uniform, riffing with the easy confidence of friends who’ve been cracking each other up for years. Jay Chandrasekhar and the Broken Lizard crew drop their troopers into a U.S.-Canada border kerfuffle that plays like a live-action cartoon—part crime caper, part prank war, all fueled by deadpan commitment and gleefully dumb escalation. The vibe is rowdy and amiable, with enough mystery-and-smuggling scaffolding to keep things moving while the real pleasure comes from the banter, the bits, and the shamelessly childish one-upmanship. It’s definitely not for anyone allergic to R-rated crudity, but if you want a goofy, good-time hangout with a few genuinely inspired comic set pieces, it delivers exactly what it promises.
