Explained

What people think about The Incredible Hulk

What makes The Incredible Hulk click is the way it treats its monster like a tragedy with muscles—an action movie powered by a man’s fear of himself. Edward Norton gives Bruce Banner a restless intelligence and quiet sorrow, grounding the spectacle so the chases, fights, and smash-and-grab set pieces feel urgent instead of noisy. Louis Leterrier keeps the pacing lean and energetic, capturing a pulpy, comic-book intensity that’s both faithful to the character and far more confident than the 2003 take. If you want a brooding, human-centered superhero film with big, physical action (and don’t mind a slightly rough-around-the-edges early-MCU vibe), this one’s a satisfying ride.
