Smokin' Aces (2006)

Smokin’ Aces is the kind of gleefully chaotic crime thriller that plays like a neon-lit pinball machine—loud, fast, and endlessly surprising as it ricochets between assassins, cops, and crooks all converging on the same bad idea. It’s over-the-top on purpose, mixing razor-edged violence with dark, cheeky humor, and it keeps you leaning forward thanks to a game ensemble cast that treats the madness like a high-wire act. Smokin’ Aces is trying to be a hyperactive, Tarantino-ish crime circus: a snitch in a hotel, a lineup of killers, and chaos colliding in a flashy Las Vegas pressure cooker.
