London is clearly aiming for an edgy, talky slice of romantic self-destruction, trapping you in a New York loft party where regret and chemicals do most of the heavy lifting. The problem is it mistakes rambling, drug-fueled monologues for depth, so the pacing can feel stagnant and the characters often come off as people you wouldn’t cross the street to spend time with, let alone a full movie.
