Emmanuelle Vaugier brings a grounded, capable presence amid the carnage, and the movie’s best stretches build real B-movie tension as the team pushes deeper into a place that’s already lost. If you’re allergic to video-game-movie vibes, cheap-and-cheerful effects, or a bit of nudity, it may not convert you—but if you want an energetic, unpretentious undead thriller that plays to the crowd, this one earns its fun.
