The Method wants to be a tight, pressure-cooker thriller about corporate Darwinism, trapping seven candidates in a room and watching civility evaporate under a series of psychological “tests.” When it works, the cast keeps the tension humming and the premise is inherently watchable, especially if you enjoy moral chess matches and people turning on each other. But the film leans hard on contrived twists and schematic “types,” so the social commentary can feel like it’s ticking boxes rather than revealing something genuinely sharp, and the sexual material can come off more provocative than purposeful.
