Balto III: Wings of Change is clearly trying to deliver a family-friendly “old ways vs. new technology” adventure, with the sled dogs proving they still matter when a plane goes down. The problem is it looks and sounds like a bargain-bin sequel: the animation is noticeably weaker, the replacement voices can feel off, and Stella the Goose is the kind of side character who tests your patience more than your funny bone.
