Little Black Book (2004)

It has a sly, early-2000s talk-show sheen and a confessional, slightly mischievous vibe, but beneath the snooping hijinks it’s really about insecurity, comparison, and the stories we tell ourselves when we’re scared to trust. Little Black Book is clearly aiming for a modern rom-com about insecurity and the messy temptation to “research” your partner’s past, with a dash of workplace satire thrown in.
