Eulogy (2004)

Eulogy is the kind of dark, slightly twisted family comedy that dares to find laughter in the moments most movies treat with kid gloves, and it gets away with it because the characters feel messy, human, and weirdly lovable. Michael Clancy orchestrates an eccentric ensemble like a chamber piece: old resentments, new alliances, and long-buried secrets ricochet through one house with rapier wit and a steady undercurrent of real sadness.
