It moves with a B-movie snap, delivering a brisk pace, punchy action, and the kind of cathartic revenge beats that make it hard to look away, even when it gets a bit lurid. The problem is it plays less like a sharp critique and more like a loud revenge fantasy, with logic that bends whenever it needs a bigger shock and a moral compass that gets uncomfortably slippery. The tone is aggressively melodramatic and often crude, so if you want nuance, believable behavior, or any sense that the film is questioning its own violence, you’ll likely find it frustrating.
