Explained

What people think about Jeepers Creepers 2

Jeepers Creepers 2 is lean, mean, and surprisingly old-school in how it scares you: it turns an everyday setting—a stranded school bus on an empty road—into a pressure cooker where dread builds with every passing minute. Victor Salva stages the mayhem with confident craft, often letting what you don’t see do the heavy lifting, so the suspense feels earned rather than noisy. The Creeper is a terrific horror villain here, a near-mythic predator with a nasty sense of timing, and the movie keeps the tension moving as the teens’ bravado gives way to raw survival. It’s absolutely not for the squeamish (the violence is grisly and the language is rough), but if you want a tight, crowd-pleasing creature feature that knows how to deliver scares, this one hits the mark.
