The action is punchy and clear, but what lingers is the simmering sense of injustice and loyalty that keeps tightening the noose as the gang runs out of road. It’s violent and rough-edged, and if you’re after a tidy, heroic history lesson this won’t be it—but if you want an absorbing, handsomely made ride with real grit and a star at full power, it’s absolutely worth the trip.
