Keenen Ivory Wayans stages Hell House like a playground for mayhem, letting Anna Faris’s game-for-anything innocence and Regina Hall’s volcanic timing bounce off Marlon Wayans’s stoner chaos in a steady stream of physical gags and escalating absurdity. The vibe is loud, dumb on purpose, and relentlessly energetic, with set pieces that play like sketch comedy trapped inside a horror movie’s creaky corridors. If you’re allergic to R-rated raunch, gross-out jokes, and nonstop profanity, this won’t convert you—but if you want a midnight-movie laugh where the only rule is “go bigger,” it’s hard to resist.

Scary Movie 2 is trying to be a rapid-fire haunted-house parody, swapping the first film’s slasher riffs for a barrage of supernatural set pieces and filthy one-liners.
