20051h 32mRHorrorThriller

A unique female specimen from the Pleistocene Age, a.k.a. the Ice Age, is kept in cryogenic stasis while being transported back to civilization in a military convoy. When the convoy is raided by mercenaries who move the specimen onto a plane, the "Ice Queen" awakens in an uncontrollably aggressive state and kills the pilot, causing the plane to crash into a resort. Having survived the crash, the Ice Queen embarks on a rampage throughout the resort, forcing the survivors into a desperate battle for survival.

Explained

What people think about Ice Queen

Ice Queen (2005) is the kind of low-budget creature feature that accidentally stumbles into greatness—not because it’s refined, but because it’s gloriously unhinged. It drops an Ice Age predator into a modern resort setting and lets the chaos play out with the breathless pace of a midnight movie dare, where every tense setup comes with the sneaking suspicion you’re about to laugh as hard as you jump. The fun is in the camp: the big swings, the wild momentum, and the “did they really just do that?” energy that turns a straightforward survival thriller into a communal, crowd-pleasing experience. If you need polished scares, this isn’t it—but if you love horror that’s so over-the-top it becomes hilariously enjoyable, Ice Queen is an easy recommendation.
