Nowhere to Hide (1999)

Park Joong-hoon’s Detective Woo barrels through the story with ferocious, almost mythic intensity, while Ahn Sung-ki’s elusive gangster keeps the film humming with sly unpredictability, all wrapped in a grimy, electric atmosphere that’s as memorable as any set piece.
