The problem is it often confuses “mysterious” with “murky,” so the story can feel like it’s drifting from one creepy moment to the next without building real suspense or delivering satisfying scares. Dialogue and character choices don’t always land, which makes it hard to stay emotionally invested when the film needs you to buy into its big feelings. If you want tight plotting, genuine horror tension, or smart twists, this probably isn’t your night; if you’re okay with a glossy, surreal vibe and can tolerate some clunky execution for the occasional eerie image, you might get something out of it.
