Moonlight Mile (2002)

Jake Gyllenhaal brings an open-wounded sincerity to a young man caught between the life he promised and the life he might still choose, while Dustin Hoffman and Susan Sarandon radiate the particular ache of parents trying to keep moving without leaving their daughter behind.
