Orgazmo (1998)

Orgazmo is what happens when Trey Parker takes a cheerfully juvenile idea and, against all odds, builds it into a strangely sweet, scrappy superhero comedy with a sincere little heart beating under the filth. The movie’s special trick is its tone: it’s brazenly raunchy and proudly stupid, yet it plays its characters with an almost innocent good nature, letting the laughs come from absurd escalation and deadpan commitment rather than cruelty. You’ll get martial-arts slapstick, porn-set satire, and an outlandish gadget that turns every scene into a comic grenade, all delivered with that early Parker/Stone energy that feels like a dare they’re delighted to win. It’s absolutely not for everyone—NC-17 isn’t a marketing flourish here—but if you can handle explicit humor in service of a surprisingly affectionate story, it’s a cult comedy that earns its reputation.

Orgazmo is clearly trying to mash up superhero parody, martial-arts goofiness, and a send-up of the porn industry in that early Trey Parker “let’s see what we can get away with” style. The problem is the satire is mostly broad and obvious, leaning hard on juvenile shock gags and awkward scenes that can feel more like a string of sketches than a proper movie. If you don’t enjoy explicit sexual humor, relentless profanity, and deliberately dumb jokes that repeat the same premise, this will test your patience fast. Still, fans of Parker and Stone’s rougher early work may appreciate the scrappy energy, a few genuinely funny one-liners, and the commitment to a ridiculous concept taken all the way.
