Run (1991)

Run is clearly trying to be a lean, pedal-to-the-floor chase thriller about an ordinary guy making one disastrous mistake and spending the rest of the movie trying to stay alive. The problem is it often confuses speed with tension, piling on noise and movement instead of giving the premise much depth or believable escalation, so it can feel thin and a bit brainless if you’re hoping for a smarter cat-and-mouse story.
