If you want a twisty mystery, it’s more about momentum than mind games—but as a tightly wound cat-and-mouse ride with a famously punchy finale and gorgeous scenery whipping past the windows, it’s enormously satisfying.

If you’re expecting the razor-wire claustrophobia of the 1952 original or a truly twisty mystery, this may feel familiar and a bit blunt, but if you just want a straightforward 90s cat-and-mouse ride with a dependable lead, it’s serviceable.
