Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)

Lethal Weapon 2 is the rare sequel that doesn’t just repeat the formula—it turns the volume up and somehow makes the friendship at its center feel even richer. Richard Donner keeps the pace brisk and the action punchy, but the real pleasure is watching Mel Gibson and Danny Glover snap into that lived-in rhythm of bickering, loyalty, and reluctant affection that makes every chase and showdown land harder.
