If you like thrillers where the tension comes from shifting loyalties, bad decisions, and the sense that fate is waiting around the next corner, this is a terrific ride—though if you need clean heroes and comforting outcomes, noir’s cold grin may not be your style.

Kill Me Again is clearly aiming for a sweaty, neon-noir thriller where everyone’s lying, everyone’s desperate, and the desert heat makes bad decisions feel inevitable. The problem is it often plays like a collage of Hitchcock and classic noir moves rather than a story with its own pulse, and the plotting gets twisty in a way that can feel more convoluted than clever. If you need tight logic, fresh ideas, or characters you can truly invest in, this may test your patience, and even the solid cast can’t always inject real life into the material. Still, if you’re in the mood for late-80s grit, a mean-spirited cat-and-mouse vibe, and you don’t mind familiar genre DNA, it has enough atmosphere and nasty tension to kill an evening.
