All of Me (1984)

All of Me is the kind of high-concept comedy that sounds like a one-joke gimmick until it reveals itself as a beautifully sustained feat of craft, timing, and sheer performer bravado. Carl Reiner treats the absurd premise with straight-faced confidence, letting the laughs come from how rigorously the movie commits to its own internal logic rather than winking at it.
