Revenge of the Ninja (1983)

Revenge of the Ninja is trying to mash up a revenge tragedy, a crime-thriller drug plot, and full-on ninja spectacle, and when it leans into the martial-arts set pieces it mostly delivers exactly what you came for. The problem is everything in between: the story gets increasingly ridiculous, the dramatic beats land with a thud, and the pacing can feel like it’s killing time until the next fight.
