Death Hunt (1981)

Death Hunt is clearly aiming for a rugged, man-versus-nature chase where the Yukon wilderness and two stone-faced icons (Bronson and Marvin) do most of the talking. The problem is the story’s logic and character motivations feel wobbly, so the escalating manhunt can come off more frustrating than gripping, especially when the pacing drifts between sudden bursts of violence and long stretches of trudging. If you’re hoping for a tight, psychologically convincing cat-and-mouse thriller or a thoughtful Western with clear moral stakes, this may test your patience.
