It also takes its time getting to the main event, with a shaggy middle that may feel overlong if you’re expecting tight action and clean momentum. If you’re put off by 1970s vulgarity, casual cruelty, and nudity played for shock or sleaze, this one may test your patience—even if the performances and offbeat heist set-pieces still make it intermittently worth the ride for the right viewer.
