In practice, it often feels like a later-series entry running on fumes: the characters seem tired, the gags don’t land as sharply, and the political/religious sparring can crowd out the lighter charm that made earlier films click. If you’re coming for brisk, consistently punchy comedy, this one may feel more talky and dutiful than genuinely funny. But if you’re already attached to these characters and enjoy their ideological tug-of-war as much as the jokes, you’ll still find a few warm, gently amusing moments worth your time.
