Amaree Terms of Use

01Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

02Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

03How the App Works

Amaree generates personalized movie predictions based on your ratings and reactions. These predictions are algorithmic estimates, not guarantees. Prediction accuracy varies and improves as you provide more feedback. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any prediction, recommendation, or explanation provided by the App.

04Subscriptions

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription ("Amaree Pro"). Amaree Pro is sold in two ways, and a subscription bought either way works in the App and on the Site on the same account:

• •In the App, through Apple. Apple is the seller of record, bills your Apple ID, and manages the subscription. You can cancel it at any time in your device's Settings under your Apple ID, and Apple handles refunds under its own terms.
• •On the Site, sold by Amaree Inc with Stripe as our payment processor. Stripe collects and stores your payment card details; we never see or store your card number. You can cancel at any time from Settings on the Site, which opens your billing portal at Stripe, and refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Automatic renewal. Amaree Pro is a recurring subscription. The plan you choose, its price, its billing period (monthly or yearly) and the length of any free trial are shown to you before you subscribe. Unless you cancel, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period and the payment method you provided is charged the price shown, plus any applicable taxes, until you cancel. We do not charge you during a free trial; when the trial ends your subscription begins and the first payment is taken. A free trial is offered once per account, whether it started in the App or on the Site.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep Amaree Pro until then; we do not charge you again. Cancel a Site subscription from Settings on the Site (Manage subscription) or by emailing us from the email address on your account; cancel an App subscription in your device's Settings under your Apple ID. Before an annual Site subscription renews we send a reminder by email with the renewal date, the price and how to cancel, and if we ever change the price we tell you by email before the change applies and you can cancel first.

Refunds. Refunds for Site purchases are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms: a full refund on request within 14 days of an annual charge, none on monthly charges beyond the free trial. Refunds for App purchases are decided by Apple.

Pro features. Amaree Pro currently unlocks a larger candidate pool for recommendations and the accuracy report. We may change what Amaree Pro includes over time; if we remove a material feature while you are subscribed we will tell you and you may cancel.

05Your Content

"Your Content" includes your ratings, reactions, profile information, and any other data you submit through the App. You retain ownership of Your Content. By using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use Your Content solely to operate, improve, and provide the App's services to you. We may use anonymized, aggregated data derived from Your Content to improve the App. Such data will not identify you personally.

You can download a copy of Your Content and the other data we hold about your account as one file from Settings on the Site, once a day, as described in the Privacy Policy.

06Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• •Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• •Attempt to access another user's account
• •Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• •Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• •Use automated tools to access the App or its data
• •Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person

07Third-Party Data

The App displays movie information sourced from The Movie Database (TMDB) and streaming availability data from JustWatch. This content is provided for informational purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of third-party data, including movie metadata, streaming availability, or provider information.

08Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, algorithms, and branding, is owned by Amaree Inc and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the App as described here.

09Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App or from Settings on the Site. Your account is hidden immediately. If you sign in again within 30 days it is restored as it was; after 30 days your account, profile, ratings, reactions, predictions and all associated data are permanently deleted from our systems and our service providers, copies in our backups expire on the schedules described in the Privacy Policy, and nothing can be recovered. The Privacy Policy also names the three records that survive the deletion (an identifier on a suppression list, the record of the deletion itself, and the rows in our training archive) and what each is for. Download a copy first if you want to keep it.

Deleting your account does not by itself refund a subscription. When you delete an account with an Amaree Pro subscription bought on the Site, the subscription is set to end at the close of the period you have paid for; when the account is permanently deleted after 30 days, any remaining subscription is canceled at that point and no refund is issued for the time left on it. A subscription bought in the App continues to be governed by Apple and must be canceled in your device's Settings.

10Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Amaree Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from or related to your use of the App, regardless of the theory of liability.

12Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service and, where the change affects your rights or obligations, require your acceptance before you can continue using it. Your continued use after a change takes effect constitutes your agreement to the revised Terms.

13Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. If we terminate your account without cause while you have an Amaree Pro subscription bought on the Site, we refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.

14Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
