Aleksandr Yefimovich Zeldovich (Russian: Александр Ефимович Зельдович; born 4 December, 1958; Moscow) is a Russian filmmaker, theater director and screenwriter. One of the cult Russian filmmakers. The premiere of the film "Target" (2011), also created according to the script in collaboration with Vladimir Sorokin, took place at the Berlin Film Festival (participation in the "Panorama" program). The fourth full-length film "Medea" (2021) was part of the official competition program at Locarno Film Festival.
