He worked at the Small Stage (First Stage) of the First Gymnasium Maribor under the mentorship of Jernej Lorencij. In 2000, he enrolled in the study of film and television directing at AGRFT, which he completed in 2007.
He mostly dedicates himself to documentary film, which in his experience requires more effort than a feature film, as its author also has to deal with filming, editing, organization, and finances. He records on film tape. After three documentaries, Oroslan (2019) was his first feature film.
