Alongside his bandmates, he co-founded the ensemble Augustifamiljen, which served as the house band for the Swedish TV quiz show På spåret for many seasons, with Sporsén often acting as musical director.
An experienced composer for screen and stage, Sporsén has written music for Swedish television dramas, films, and theatrical productions, and has collaborated with artists such as The Tallest Man on Earth, José González, and Veronica Maggio.
