2020 also saw Susan as Trish Williams in the celebrated series, Still Breathing (bbzeefilms/Mnet/Showmax). Her notable theatre work began with her award-winning debut role as Rosasharn in Steinbeck’s, The Grapes of Wrath; Juliet in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and Abigail in Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. More recent theatre highlights include her Best Actress nominated performance as Anna, opposite John Kani (Black Panther) in his play Missing, for The Baxter and Market Theatres; playing Sylvia Gellburg, opposite Sir Antony Sher in Arthur Miller’s Broken Glass for The Fugard Theatre, for which she also received a Best Actress nomination, and Emma in Harold Pinter’s Betrayal, directed by Lara Foot, for which she won the Fleur Du Cap Best Actress Award.
