Over the following decade, he established an extensive filmography as a character actor, appearing in *Leader* (2010), *Maryada Ramanna* (2010), *Julai* (2012), *Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu* (2013), and *Attarintiki Daredi* (2013). For his performance in *Mukunda* (2014), he received a SIIMA Award nomination for Best Actor in a Negative Role – Telugu. His subsequent credits included *S/O Satyamurthy* (2015), *A Aa* (2016)—earning a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor – Telugu—*Duvvada Jagannadham* (2017), *Rangasthalam* (2018), *Bharat Ane Nenu* (2018), and *Jersey* (2019).

In the 2020s, Ramesh expanded his presence across multi-industry productions, appearing in *Pushpa: The Rise* (2021), the legal drama *Jai Bhim* (2021), and the Kannada feature *K.G.F: Chapter 2* (2022).
